Ingredients

1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thinly

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

1 onion, sliced

2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 cup water

Salt and pepper to taste

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.

Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.

Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.

Remove beef from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add onions and mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Return beef to the wok and add the sauce mixture.

Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
