Pepperoni Pizza Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 dinner rolls Hawaiian rolls work great for their slight sweetness
  • 1 cup pizza sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices of pepperoni or more, if you’re feeling generous
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Prep the Rolls

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet or in a large baking dish.

Build the Sliders

  • Spread an even layer of pizza sauce over the bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle about half of the shredded mozzarella on top. Add a couple of slices of pepperoni to each roll. Layer the remaining mozzarella over the pepperoni and top it all off with the top half of the rolls.

Add the Buttery Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese. Brush this buttery goodness generously over the tops of the rolls. Trust me, this step takes these sliders to the next level.

Bake to Perfection

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Use a sharp knife to cut them into individual sliders and watch them disappear!
