Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!)
  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to make cleanup a breeze later.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Give it a good mix so the flavors are evenly distributed.

Step 3: Roll It Up

  • Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Place a small scoop of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle, then roll it up like you’re making tiny burritos. Arrange the rolled crescents in your greased baking dish.

Step 4: Make the Sauce

  • In another bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Pour this creamy mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.

Step 5: Add the Cheese

  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. You can add more cheese if you’re feeling extra cheesy—there’s no judgment here!

Step 6: Bake to Perfection

  • Pop the dish into your preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the sauce is bubbling. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
