Chicken Alfredo Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

12 oz fettuccine (or your preferred pasta)

2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add fettuccine (or your chosen pasta) and cook until just shy of al dente, as it will finish cooking in the oven.
  • Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Alfredo Sauce

  • Use store-bought Alfredo sauce for convenience or make it from scratch.
  • To make it, simmer heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, and minced garlic over low heat until creamy and smooth.

Combine Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, Alfredo sauce, heavy cream (optional), shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Mix well to coat the pasta and chicken evenly.

Assemble the Casserole

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a casserole dish.
  • Pour the pasta mixture into the dish and spread it evenly.

Add the Cheese Topping

  • Sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar cheeses evenly over the pasta.

Bake the Casserole

  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden on top.

Garnish and Serve

  • Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for garnish, if desired.

Serve warm and enjoy!
